Welcome to our Coach U Enneagram SIG!

What?

We are a special interest group (SIG) of Coach University.  We host monthly Enneagram SIG telemeetings, open to the public.  Our meeting facilitator is Kathleen Paterno.

A few days before each meeting, our next telemeeting agenda will be posted here.  If you join our SIG, you will receive e-mail meeting reminder notices.

When?

Our telemeetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 PM Eastern Time.  Our next meeting will be held Aug 4, 2010.  Click here for the agenda.

2010 Calendar: Aug 4, Sep 1, Oct 6, Nov 3, Dec 1

Who?

We include anyone who coaches and either uses or wants to start using the Enneagram.

How?

Our SIG's agenda each month includes "coaching applications of the Enneagram." We work with anonymous examples / scenarios from coaches' actual clients. We discuss interventions and role-play coaching people.

You are welcome and invited to bring your own case study for sharing!

Many meetings also include educational or discussion topics, presented by our members or invited special guests.

Where?

(407) 649-8983 [note: if you dial before the hour the phone will just ring and ring.]

Why?

  • Great way to keep your Enneagram knowledge growing.
  • Great way to brainstorm with others about Enneagram strategies to use with your clients.
  • Great way to get others' input regarding Enneagram questions.
  • Great way to deepen your understanding.
  • Great way to build community.

How Much?

Membership is free.  Telemeeting participation costs you whatever fees your long-distance provider charges.

What Else?

When you join you will gain access to the "Members Only" materials in the Resource Library (when you login, a 'Resource Library' button will appear on the menu of blue buttons at top left.)

I'm interested.  Next?

Aug 4 Telemeeting Agenda (call 407-649-8983 @ 9 PM EDT)

1. Everyone (5 min) – Introductions

2. Social Roles of the Enneagram Types  *** (40 - 45 min)  - NOTE: advance reading of a one-page handout is required.  See below

3. Wrap-up: debrief and plan for next session

Topic IntroductionSocial Roles of the Enneagram Types

Each Enneagram type has a particular Social Role.  We believe we need to be a certain way and we need others to respond to us as being that way.  When we become consciously aware of our Social Role and how it drives us, we can choose another path, another way of being and acting.

How can we use this insight for our personal growth and to help our coaching clients?  Join us on August 4th to listen in, share your insights and expand your knowledge.  To prepare, before our telemeeting please skim the one-page handout here.

This monthly call stands alone; feel free to join even if this is your first time.

If you have not yet discovered your personality style, we invite you to click How Do I Determine My Enneatype? Still unsure of your Enneatype, even afterward?  That's OK!  We more than welcome you to join the discussion.

These calls develop your self-knowledge, and you will become a better coach when you understand your clients’ personalities.

I look forward to our discussion August 4th!

All the best,

Kathleen Paterno (your Enneagram SIG facilitator)

+++ For Students of the Enneagram: The Enneagram is a “big tent” subject with many teachers. No one “master’s teachings” have currently been adopted or accepted as a standard by any profession.  The ground covered at our SIG telemeetings ranges over a the large area of experience brought to the subject by all our members.  For example, your SIG webmaster provides a unique perspective from TriUnity, a new and even “bigger tent” philosophy.
